Tærte M. Peberfrugt, Røget Bacon
100g blød smør
1/2 tsk. Salt
2 spsk. Vand
1 stk. rød, gul & grøn peberfrugt
75g røget bacon
2 kugler mozzarella
Salt og peber efter smag
1 håndfuld frisk timian
1.Start by mixing flour and salt together. Cut the butter into small cubes and crumble it into the flour.
2. Gather the dough with water and knead it into a ball. Wrap the dough in film and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
3. Turn on your oven at 175°, hot air.
4.Start on the filling.
5.Rinse the peppers and cut them and bacon into small pieces.
6.Peel the onions. Halve them and cut them into thin half rings.
7.Fry the onion and bacon in a pan until the onions are soft. Then take the pan off the heat.
8.Grease a round pie tin with a 27.5 cm diamond with a little butter.
9.Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 centimeter, between two pieces of baking paper. Feel free to let the dough hang a little over the edges, as it will collapse during baking due to the heat.
10.Poke your tart base several times with a fork to prevent it from rising.
11.Bake the tart base in the middle of the oven for 8 minutes and then take it out of the oven.
12.Distribute peppers, bacon and onion in the pie tin. Peel the mozzarella balls with your fingers and press the pieces firmly into the pie mixture – save a little for the top.
13.Beat the eggs well with salt and pepper and pour the mixture over the ingredients in the pie tin.
I 14.Top the pie with remaining mozzarella and fresh thyme.
Bake the pie in the middle of the oven for 45 minutes.
